ST Unitas beta launches Conects website, a global knowledge-sharing platform

 

  • ST Unitas has launched Conects, a global knowledge-sharing platform which integrates various knowledge contents such as lectures, online classes, books, tutoring, experts’ know-how, etc.
  • All 70 education service brands of ST Unitas including Engdangi, Gongdangi, Skyedu, Libro, Kids’ Schole, etc. have been integrated into a single website, Conects, an education platform providing services throughout an individual’s lifecycle starting from early childhood and elementary education to adult and job education.
  • In the BI of Conects, the letter n depicts a person, reflecting the company’s vision to enable people to realize their dreams by connecting various people and knowledge.

(2017-08-23) On August 23rd, ST Unitas, a leading edutech company in South Korea, has launched a new brand, Conects, which is a global knowledge platform that also integrates all of its services.

 

Through the recent launch of Conects, ST Unitas has been able to integrate all of its 70 brands such as Engdangi, Gongdangi, Skyedu, Libro, and Kids’ Schole, into a single website. Consumers are now able to have access to all ST Unitas’ education services as well as various types of contents such as lectures, books, tutoring services, and experts’ know-how.

 

To facilitate consumers’ access and use of information, ST Unitas has segmented the platform into five categories namely, Live(lectures), Learning(classes), Book(books), Tutor(1:1 tutoring), Expert(knowledge and know-how).

 

”Live” menu offers various lectures for high school students, college students, and employees. The lectures are not one-time events as they allow users to expand and reproduce their newly gained knowledge and experience.

 

“Learning” connects users to 75 education brands ranging from early childhood and elementary education to adult education. Approximately 26,000 educational contents of ST Unitas are provided, making it South Korea’s largest education platform for people of all ages. In the future, ST Unitas plans to eliminate barriers among different brands by offering various payment options to help users achieve their goals in learning.

 

▲ “Book” links users to Conects Book. Libro, an online bookstore, was rebranded to Conects Book. The services of Conects Book goes beyond those of traditional online bookstore as it functions as a platform where users gain knowledge. There’s also a shop in shop where users can set up their own bookstore to recommend and introduce books. Also, various customized services are provided such as book recommendations by experts in respective fields and by themes.

 

▲ “Tutor” menu was developed by expanding an existing service, Tutor King, which was mostly limited to providing tutoring to middle and high school students. The new Tutor menu now offers various tutoring services for adults by including hobbies, leisure, and self-development. All users are able to freely share their knowledge and talents with other users in need of such information.

 

“Expert” menu will provide the knowledge of leading experts in each industry by documenting and offering offline consulting services based on these experts’ successful projects and their know-how.

 

Also, ST Unitas launched “My Conects” service which enables users to customize their feeds by selecting fields of interest, so that users can check and manage selective knowledge contents on a real time basis without having to find relevant contents from massive amount of feeds. Based on the selected fields, users can also share knowledge and know-how with other experts in the field who have already achieved their goals.

 

Meanwhile, the different brand identities (BI) of each brand were all integrated into Conects. In the BI of Conects, the letter n depicts a person, reflecting the company’s vision to enable people to realize their dreams by connecting various people and knowledge.
